The back is embossed with “Czecho-slovakia” There is a small circle above that with an "R" inside. The violin is made of tin with wood parts. There are 3 strings present one is missing. The body, fingerboard, and tailpiece are all made of tin. The body is painted brown to resemble wood, but is tin. The fingerboard and tailpiece are black. The neck, peg box, and pegs are brown and made of wood. The strings are made of wire. This would be a great display/gift for someone who plays.Manufacturer: Unknown, CzechoslovakiaBody Condition: Wonderful vintage condition. This definitely has been played with. There is one sting missing and the others are kind of loose. There is paint wear and it has some denting on the back. Please view all pictures for more of a description. I have seen others online similar to this but note they are a bit larger. Measurements: 9.75” long X 1.25” deep X 3.25” wide at bottom. The body is 1” deep.
