Description: This original vintage 1940s pin-up print by Billy DeVorss features a beautiful brunette Drum Majorette. Billy DeVorss (1908-1985) was an informally trained American painter of pin-up girls. His work was heavily influenced by Rolf Armstrong (1889-1960). The drum majorette print is approximately 10" x 13" in overall size (it has been unevenly cropped) and 9" x12" in image size. It is in excellent condition, with bold and bright color. Chuck Olson Legacy Chuck Olson spent over 40 years collecting and traveling the United States in search of unique vintage prints. He was especially interested in prints that were printed for use on calendars in the “Age of the Calendar” from 1900-1960. Chuck’s prints are original prints created from the painting and not new reproductions.
