Description: 2 vintage miniature oil lamps.I found a lamp like this in Miniature Lamps II Book by Ruth Smith on page 121. There it is described as being made in the 1940s and was filled with perfumed oil for burning.I don't know if the chimney is original. There is wear on the painted flowers, especially on one of them. I have not tried to clean these since the painted design is not fired-on and will come off easily. Both burners have knobs that turn easily. Only one burner pushed the wick up. It's the burner that looks like it's tinted red. Please refer to pictures. We buy most of our pieces at auctions, flea markets & yard sales so we may not know the history of the item.
