Vintage 1940's Stainless Solex Big Curved Drivers Watch 38mm x 23mm U Shaped

Description: Up for sale is a vintage 1940's stainless steel Solex Driver's watch. The case has a giant U shaped curve, so it can be worn on the edge of the wrist and can be viewed without removing your hand from the steering wheel. The case is 38mm from lug to lug straight across, but 60mm if you measure around the curve. It is 23mm wide. The case is in very good condition. The original dial is marked Solex Suizo, and has some staining. The 15 jewel movement is unmarked and is in running condition. I do not know the last time it was serviced. The glass crystal is in perfect condition. The crown is at 12 o'clock, and between the lugs, which makes it a little difficult to wind, but that is the way it was made. The watch has a brand new black genuine crocodile strap. The watch has solid lugs, not springbars, so the strap is an open ended glue on style. Please view the photos and ask questions as needed.
