Description: This is a vintage, 1940's, fly tying kit from TACK-L-TYERS of Evanston, Illinois. I found this kit at an estate sale and the great graphics on the box drew my attention to it. The box is in extremely good vintage condition for being from the 1940's. A little point wear, great colorful graphics. The instruction pamphlet is dated 1946, so am assuming this kit is from the 1940's. The kit is obviously missing some of its original components, i.e. vise, hooks. The box is full of plumage, feathers, fur and other fly tying material. I believe this is far more of this material than was with the original kit. The jars are obviously empty or contain deterioted product, but I have left them in the box. Please review the photos carefully for exactly what this listing comprises. Sold as is.
