(Electric Co.) was located at 305-315 Rider Avenue, Bronx 51, N.Y. They sold their lighting outfits and Christmas novelty items under the Paramount, Sterling, Wink-A-Lite and Gibraltar names in the 1930-1965 time period. This company was one of the "biggies" in the Christmas lighting industry, and NOMA's largest competitor. Also sold lighting sets in Canada under the Pennant name. DESCRIPTION Here is a Vintage 1949 Lighted Christmas Plastic SNOWMAN with Lantern and Cigar by the Raylite Electric Co. It is Catalog No. 62. He comes with a white cord with a C7 candelabra black socket, white bulb and a white plug, which the plug may not be original. He stands 6-1/2" tall, 3-1/2" wide and 3" deep. The Snowman is in Very Good Condition with some common blemishes due to having the cord wrapped around it. I call these cord marks. This happens when the cord is touching the plastic, and leaves marks from a chemical reaction between the cord and plastic, usually from being stored in a warm place. As you can see in the picture, it works. There is no box. Weight before packaging for shipment is 5.5 oz.
