Description: Vintage 1950's 7 1/2" Alexander Kin Wendy Doll Face Mold Doll . The doll is App. 7 1/2" to 8". She is marked ALEX on the back of her torso. The torso is stationary. Her body appears to be strung together. Her head , arms and legs move. The legs bend at the knee. Her hair is curly reddish blonde. There are remnants of a green ribbon on a rubber band in her hair. Her eyebrows, lips, cheeks, eyelids and bottom lashes are painted on. Her open and close sleep eyes are a brownish color and have faux top lashes. The paint on bottom lashes is worn away and barely viseable. The color on her face has darkened and on the left top area by her eyebrow there is a small blotch. The doll did not come with a box, outfit or label that would identify her. Her body is solid. There is a small blemish under the neck area from the molding process. Minor surface wear with surface scratching and darkening to the material. The time frame we selected is the 1950's. The doll could be older or newer. The material's used to make the doll are not known or listed. We try very hard to protect your purchase- books and other paper items get sent in plastic sleeves or bubble wrap surrounded by cardboard, other breakable items get packing peanuts, bubble wrap, or other protection to help avoid postal damage.
