Description: Vintage 1950s Ath-Tex Oven Ware Ceramic Chips Dip Serving Bowl Great vintage condition, no chips or cracks. Chip and dip serving dish with bowls attached as one piece. 11 inches outer diameter serving bowl with a 5.5 inch wide dip bowl, in a woodgrain design with brown/beige ceramic glazed coloring resembling desert sands and earthy browns featuring a Flamenco dancer in the middle of the dip bowl. The underside is marked AthTex. It is a Watt mold, but not made by Watt Pottery. Two cousins of the Watt brothers somehow acquired some Watt molds and produced AthTex Pottery out of Athens, Texas.
