Description: This lovely 1950s gown is made of a bright purple taffeta and a rayon lining in the same color. The bodice of this gown features horizontal stripes of ribbon that match the lining. The stripes add a bit of structure to the taffeta forming an exaggerated silhouette. There is a metal zipper closure down the left hand side of the gown. There are two taffeta cuffs that come with the gown as well. The gown is in great vintage condition. There is slight discoloration on the fabric under the arm pits and there are some minor loose threads throughout. Please view all photos before purchasing, this piece is sold AS IS.
