Description: Vintage 1950's Mexican coin bracelet is approx. 7" long and 7/8" in width. 19 One Centavos coins + 1 detached 1951 5 Centavos coin which originally hung from main bracelet. The total weight of bracelet + loose coin is approx. 1 3/4 ounces. All coins are tarnished. Fastener soldered to end coins. See pictures. From what I read online, the 1 centavos coins are made of brass and the 5 centavos coin is made of brass and bronze. Wheat on one side of the 1 centavos coins, eagle with snake on the other. Several (what I could see), if not all, of the 1 centavos coins are 1958. (Because of the design of the bracelet, difficult to check all coins for year). Other than tarnish, the one centavos coins seem to be in good condition. Coin where 5 centavos coin hung from, has solder. (see picture) All coins have loops soldered on top and bottom and connecting chain running between loops. (see pictures) Josefa Ortiz (facing left) on one side of 5 centavos coin, eagle with snake and "Estados Unidos Mexicanos" printed on back. This coin is worn with soldered loop for hanging still attached.(see pictures)
