Description: Vintage 1950's Youth Play Helmet - by Winston Vintage 50's to 60's era Winston Helmet. YES - that's not a misprint - it's not a Wilson, it's a Winston. Heck maybe if you smoked enough cigarettes they'd send you this nifty helmet for your kid :)Seriously I have heard of Winston baseball gloves...never a football helmet, so this must be rare. I go to vintage toy shows, flea markets, auctions, etc all the time and this is the first Winston helmet I have ever seen. Missing the facemask gaurd (assuming it had one) - and the snap attachment on the rubber chinstrap is missing. Definitely just a display piece but such a cool, rare vintage piece for your collection!
