Description: Offering a vintage 1957 Remington Quiet-Riter with Miracle Tab portable manual typewriter with original case. Types well, the "J" and "7" are sometimes slow but do not stick. The bell is not working, or I just couldn't figure it out. Has original case, no key or manual. Remington Rand steel typewriter made in the US. Needs a new ribbon, will accept a Remington replacement ribbon but it must be hand wound onto the special metal spools on the machine. The serial no., QR3441627, dates the machine from 1957.
