Correct nickel plating over brass. Significant brass showing on the tops, especially on the bass saddles!!! Fantastic relic vibe!!!The saddles show the foundry diagonal marks on the back. Very desirable authentic relic look!! See detail pics. Great looking vintage vibe on this set.The notches are pretty on-center and fairly shallow...very useable as-is. Better than many I have seen. One saddle has two notches...still useable.See all detail pics.The screws have flattish heads of that early era, with no bevel, and the screwdriver slots are clean.This is a good set for a real 59 Les Paul restoration or if you want to add vintage parts to a custom build or Custom Shop guitar.These are REAL...they are not any of the annoying faked reissue clone parts!
