Description: This is a gorgeous 1959 RUBENS ORIGINALS Lady Head Vase # 501. It was manufactured in Japan. It is in EXCELLENT TO MINT CONDITION with no chips, cracks or crazing. It is immaculate inside and out, as it has been safely stored over the years in a curio cabinet in a smoke-free home. It looks practically brand new which is very amazing for a head vase of this age! It was never used as a planter.This glamorous blonde has braided hair and bangs. Her braids come from the back of her head and wrap around to the front of her head like a crown. She has a beautiful face with long eyelashes, a perfect complexion and ruby red lips. Her ivory dress is adorned with gold floral trim. She is wearing the original faux pearl drop earrings and necklace. The measurements are 6-1/2” high and 3-1/2” wide. It is stamped on the bottom, and the silver foil label is still intact.
