The OTT-16 and OTT-19 with wooden knobs and no crier holes in the ears were the first Thumbelina doll introduced in 1961. Due to the popularity of the doll, many more Thumbelina's in more sizes and accessories were introduced beginning in 1962. This Thumbelina is marked IDEAL TOY CORP/OTT-19 on the back of neck. She is approximately 20". Thumbelina comes with her original mechanism, Plastic knob & When I turn her knob she moves and cries. See video! Thumbelina comes with her original pixie hair style. Hair is clean, soft and shiny with no missing plugs. This dolls bangs are a little straighter than most Thumbelina's. Not sure if her original mama gave her a trim. If she did get a trim they did an excellent job. Thumbelina has her original vibrant face paint. Beautiful pink cheeks, light pink mouth, blue painted eyes, three outer black lashes, single stroke brown eyebrows. Thumbelina has shiny scuff marks to the upper right cheek area. this does not take away from her beauty. please see photos. Her vinyl arms and legs are a fleshy/peachy skin tone. They are clean with all fingers and toes. This Thumbelina has some light blushing to her vinyl limbs. kinda like a real baby. Her cloth body is very clean, still retains a pink color. Cloth body has no stains or restitching. Thumbelina has a little bumble bee patch on right cloth leg, where there was a tiny little hole. Thumbelina is stuffed with her original foam and she is soft and huggable:-) Thumbelina will come with a 2 piece yellow knit outfit, baby onesie, doll booties with ribbon ties. She will also come with a reproduction name bracelet, blue hair ribbon and a copy of original instructions. Thumbelina is adorable as can be...
