Description: A large, vintage, original Imperial Russian Navy Ensign or Cold War CCCP / USSR Navy Flag in traditionally panel stitched cotton. Measuring approximately 180cm x 90cm, or 6ft x 2ft 10in, this design of Navy Jack of the Imperial Russian Navy was established by Peter The Great at the beginning of the 18th century and is a reverse of the St. Andrew Cross. In very good, used, vintage condition, most likely from the 1960s. Traditionally panel stitched. No fraying to the fly end. Some historic moth nips, small holes or thinning of the fabric. Original rope and wooden toggle in good order so ready to fly or display. See photos.
