It's packed full of very cool old pictures - illustrations, infographics, instructions and diagrams. Functionally impressive and interesting, rugged and sturdy multi-hinge articulating flip-top binding. Excellent condition - very good to fine - on nearly all interior pages. Flaws include dog eared introductory pages, pen marks and water stains on edges / foredge (which do NOT continue onto page surfaces), visual wear of flip-top hinge from use (does NOT affect function and is not indicitave of any failure, now or in the future), and markings / ex-lib materials on front endpaper / endsheet / pastedown and flyleaf. Former Utah high school library book, as you can see in the photo with the checkout schedule and card pocket. However, it doesn't look like a lot of kids were keen on honing their skills on a typewriter in the late 60s and 70s, because that schedule is pretty untouched and the book is in great shape! (Little did they know this very same QWERTY keyboard layout would one day be the gatekeeper and control panel for the entire English-speaking world!) This is a fantastic looking period showpiece that pops in warm, rich orange, and is ideal for the mid-60s through early 70s display collection.
