The strap and buckle are aftermarket replacements. The caseback has been worn down, "Waterproof" is vaguely legable. reference 145.008 was released around 1969 sporting a much more substantial 41mm stainless steel case and inner rotating bezel ,of the three variants of this model the Pilot line ,as featured here was the first. With its 12/24 hour inner rotating bezel it offered a clear accurate way of recording two time zones, likewise the charcoal pie pan dial (arguably the rarest color) was very clear and legible . The Cal 865 movement is a simplified but highly accurate version of the famous cal 861 movement found in the more expensive Speedmaster chronographsThis watch is in amazing vintage condition, (chrome plate is partially missing on the chrono push button).
