Description: Vintage 1969 New York Mets World Champion Plastic Batting Helmet This is a rare vintage 1969 World Champion New York Mets plastic batting helmet. The batting helmet is vintage used but is in very good condition. The batting helmet has an adjustable plastic strap on the inside to allow for adjusting the fit. The batting helmet is approximately 9 1/2" front to back, 6 1/2" side to side and tall and 5" tall. The inside of the helmet notes that it is a 1969 product of Adjustrap Sports Prod Corp, is an official licensee of major league baseball and a warning that it is not a protective helmet.
