Description: Experience high-quality sound with these vintage 1970 Yamaha NS-15 floor speakers. This set features a truly unique "ear" shaped woofer design meant to resemble the tone board of a grand piano. This is part of a series of loudspeakers made by Yamaha during the mid 1960s to 1970s. They are all universally known for their irregular shaped woofers made of a Styrofoam like material. These are a bit of an audio "oddball" that would make a great addition to any vintage collection! The speakers work flawlessly, and sound great. They have been fully and rigorously tested, and I am very impressed by the quality of their sound. I can provide video of them operating upon request. All components are completely original, and fully functioning. Cosmetically, they are in really good vintage condition. The walnut frames have been periodically oiled and are free of any major damage. The wood has some light scratching and dents (mostly at the corners), but overall look really nice. The speakers maintain all of their original grille cloth. For the most part, the cloth is in really good condition with no tears, runs, or holes. However, one speaker does have some staining near the bottom and is missing the Yamaha badge. Overall, this is a great looking pair that also sounds great and is sure to impress!
