Description: Vintage Durham IndustriesSILLYS1920 Custom Ford Hot Rod This is from the 1970s....Durham Industries produced a limited line of these called "SILLYS"They were wired remote contol Hot Rods/Custom Vehicles....made in JAPAN and sold by Durham Industries in Toy StoresThere were a couple different models and they were called...."SILLYS"This is the 1920 FORD HOT RODIt is in what I would consider to be MINT condition.....all original stickers are there and in exceptional conditionThere are some glue residue streaks on the driver's side of chassis from the original assembly of this unitAlso....the black convertible top.....the left side has a small tab that should have been INSIDE cab when assembled...it is on the outside edgeagain...this occurred during the original assembly of the vehicle in Japan and is not damage (see pic)No cracks, no breaks, no missing pieces....MINT...all 4 rubber wheels are still pliable and rubberyBattery unit is pristine....it does require 2 "D" cell batteries for operation (Batteries are NOT included)This has been tested and is WORKING just as it should (remote unit allows it to go forward or backwards) (see video) The pictures do a much better job of describing this item than I ever could, please check them out!If you have any questions or need any additional information regarding this item, please contact me PRIOR to bidding Pictures are of the ACTUAL ITEM that you are bidding onI took several pictures to give you a good ideaof just how COOL and how COLLECTIBLE this item is!
