Description: Vintage 1970s Sheer Flower Power + Striped Orange Geometric Fabric Japan 3.5 Yds. I found these two amazing fabrics together in my mother's 1970-1972 stash of fabrics from Japan. I believe she was going to make a jumper from the striped fabric with a coordinating blouse from the sheer fabric that would go underneath. I'm selling this together because they are so great together in a 1970s wild groovy way! I am really hoping somebody will use both of them in a great outfit. The sheer floral fabric is two yards 4 in long and 43 in wide. It is lightweight and sheer. You can see your hand through it if you hold it up to the light. It has a slight crepe texture. Please see pictures. It is most likely a synthetic material. The striped fabric is also 43 in wide. It is almost 1 and 1/2 yards long. It feels like a cotton or cotton blend but I cannot tell because there are no tags. It has a crisp stiffer feel, almost like a twill. It is not a soft flowey fabric. Please note at one end it has a small stain that has marked the fabric on one side and since the fabric was folded it marked the fabric on the other side as well . So this one spot has made three spots at one end of the fabric. The original spot, then the fabric where it was folded and half, and then one more spot where it was folded in quarters. The first spot is dark, the second spot is lighter and the third spot is very light. These series of spots are 10 in from the edge of the fabric. Please see pictures for details.
