Description: This vintage Owl Cookie Jar is in good condition with no chips or cracks. There are two spots that the paint has come off on the left eyebrow and ear and the bottom is scuffed from being used for decades which can be seen in the pictures. The interior looks very clean. This cookie jar is identical to the Atlantic Mold company owl cookie jar from this time period but the back tail feathers are stamped “2731 USA” and I could not find any information about if the Atlantic Mold company had an alternative stamp. The estimated time period is 1970’s because it matches other pieces from this time. It measures 10.5” tall, 6.5” wide and 5” long. The body is 5” deep and the whole jar weighs 2 lbs 12 ounces. I’m pricing this piece higher than comparable jars that sold recently because they were chipped and cracked and this piece is only missing a little paint. Beautiful and cute cookie jar that would make a great addition to any collection.
