Description: In my otherwise angelic teenage years, I discovered the joys of wine and the beginner's entry into that world in the 'hood is the cheap stuff. Thank you Yago Sant' gria for being there! Of course popularity demanded some swag/market tie-in stuff and novelty radios were very in vogue back then. This one survived very nicely in a collection I'm currently listing occasionally on this site. The previous owner bought many back then, tested them and 90-odd percent went back into the boxes and were displayed or put away in closets or an attic. This one is in that number. It's in fab condition. And it works very well, even in my area here near Boston which sadly is not a good spot for reception. I tuned in several stations, some better than others, of course there is the usual static and scratchy noises, but it works as it should. You may or may not get equal or better results. My biggest apology is that at times it helps to jiggle the tuning knob! And...the old batteries that it was originally sold with are no longer in the slots provided, they're long since gone. Also the bix is missing a couple of flaps and has some wear and tear. Anyway, see the pics they tell the story. Please email if any questions or comments.
