They are made of plastic with a metal pin. I am no jewelry expert, so I really don't know the proper name for these items. I do believe these are more than likely carnival prizes. I believe they are vintage, because they were made in Hong Kong and I acquired them along with many other items for the 1970s and 1980s. If you are old enough to remember, after Japan became to expensive to manufacture toy trinkets, the market shifted to Hong Kong, then Tawain and then China. They are still attacked to the original display card, which is interesting. While I do not think they were worn, one of the pieces looks as though it is missing some paint or something. It is the figure of what looks like a robot with some sort of helmet. The paint is missing on its arm. Please see photo. The others look to be in good condition and do not appear to be missing any paint. I believe the items are made of plastic. The cards read, "Fashion Jewellery Made in Hong Kong". It is kind of comical, because "Jewlery" is misspelled, lol. Please see photo. This is another reason why I think they are vintage, because I just don't see this type of mistake anymore. One of the pieces looks like a ceremonial mask and the other looks like a caterpillar to me. I really don't know what the impressions are supposed to be. I believe these items were part of a larger card, because the edges are perforated so they could easily be removed. I honestly think these were carnival prizes, because I remember back when I was a kid that some toys given out for playing carnival games, like tossing a dart at a balloon or picking up a rubber duck from a duck pond, toys like this were taken from a larger card and sometimes the winner could pick out what they wanted. If you believe I am in error in my description or if you know more about them, please let me know and I will add your opinion to this listing. I think these items could be repainted, if you want to, with a better paint. Just a thought.
