It has markings on the back that read "LPH-11 109" which is form the USS New Orleans Amphibious Helicopter Assault Ship.The ship was commissioned in 1966 for Vietnam and served until 1997 and then in 2010 was sunk off of Hawaii as a military target. Not many items have real history to them! Overall it is in good shape- snap all work, the buttons are all there- few light stains on the front but overall still a nice jacket. see pics of the exact Jacket you are buying.
