This sharp Group Action Joe Sheriff outfit hails from the 'In the Name of the Law' series, released in France in the 1970's. Brightly colored and richly detailed, the outfit shows minimal signs of play wear. A full description of each accessory is available below, for those folks who enjoy reading a detailed breakdown: Thick Black Jacket features a wide, suede-like collar and partial lining, plus two suede side pocket flaps. Included is the oftentimes lost, silver tone Sheriff badge. Hook and eye clasp closure on chest. Tag reads Action Joe Made in Hong Kong. Fabric is super clean with no signs of fading, tears or wear noted. Black and blue striped trousers are constructed of a medium weight cotton fabric. The pants are of a simple design with no pockets and a single snap. Fabric is clean and crisp with no holes or fading, and only minimal play wear. Yellow long sleeve shirt with wide collar in medium weight cotton fabric is super clean and brightly colored. Tag reads Action Joe ®. A single snap on each sleeve cuff plus two on the shirt front are in perfect working order. No tears, splits or fading noted. Waistcoat constructed of a rich red fabric features three brass buttons. Clean and brightly colored with minimal play wear noted. Hard to find black neck tie in medium weight velvety fabric is brightly colored with very light play wear noted. Wide Brim Black Hat, cast from the same mold used with the Zorro set, is clean and intact with minimal wear other than a small dent on the hat rim. We’ve seen this before on other hats, so it’s probably related to the way it was stored in the original window box. Tall Black Boots marked 1 & 2 respectively, are clean and intact with minimal play wear. Original, correct single holster brown gun belt is clean with missing nubs only note. Belt stays on waist securely, regardless. Standard Issue Lebel Revolver is clean and intact with a tiny melt mark on tip of pistol barrel being the main note.
