Description: Shipping Vintage 1982 Metlox Noahs Ark Cookie Jar/with Documented Family and Date Measuring 10 in. length by 9.5 in. height and about 6 in. depth this lovely and colorful Noah's Ark Cookie Jar in fine condition is documented by bearing an underglaze previous ownership and date: "Reyders Catalina '82". Who the Reyder family was and why they had this cookie Jar personalized in 1982 suggests they were on vacation on the Island off the coast of Southern California and decided to memorialize that long ago vacation. Thus this cookie Jar is fairly unique. Guess know one in the Reyder family cared about cookies anymore - or perhaps none of them are left to care about cookies or anything else. If you're a Ryder - wouldn't that be sweet! Cookie jar in fine clean condition with no cracks chips or repairs. And oh yes we know that it's at least 42 years old!
