Description: This is an original, vintage 1989 Pawtucket Red Sox program/yearbook from a game in June against the Toledo Mud Hens, affiliate of the Detroit Tigers. I am the original and only owner, having purchased it at the game and brought it home to put in a box, where it spent over three decades. I scored the game in pencil and it appears John Marzano hit a home run for the Pawsox that night, and current Diamondbacks manager Torey Lovullo scored on a grand slam hit by Doug Strange of the Mud Hens, who made his Major League debut for the Tigers the following month. Also included is the printed insert with up-to-date statistics and rosters as of May 31, 1989. This insert is a bit larger than the program, so its edges stuck out and are are yellowed, crinkled and slightly torn. But the program itself is in great condition and looks almost new. Another sports-related treasure of mine has to leave in a downsizing effort, and I hope it finds a good home for the next 30+ years.
