This great vintage poster of NBA legend Shaquille O'Neal is in excellent condition. There are no significant issues with the heavy stock poster. There is light wear to the bottom corners and some very light scratches in the black background. There is a 1/2 inch faint wrinkle in the top border directly above Shaq's head and a 1 1/2 inch scratch to the right of CB-SO95 in the center of the bottom border. All the edge blemishes would be hidden if this were framed. From the Cardboard Connection website- "The Costacos brothers poster empire was born in the mid-1980s in Seattle. Somehow, they convinced athletes to dress up as cowboys, cyborgs, superheroes and soldiers. Toss in a few props like a plane, hot car or tank and give it some dramatic lighting and the rest is pop culture history. Being the 1980s, there was also a lot of guns -- something that likely wouldn't fly now. Today, many recognize Costacos brothers posters as works of art. And they are. Although they were intended to be pinned to walls, these posters were printed in enough quantities that they can still be found today. Listed at 7 ft 1 in (2.16 m) tall and weighing 325 pounds (147 kg), he was one of the heaviest players ever to play in the NBA. O'Neal played for six teams throughout his 19-year NBA career. He was announced as a nominee for the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame on December 21, 2015. Butler/NBA & Tim Defrisco, Printed in the USA, CB-SO95. In the bottom right corner it reads Costacos Brothers, Inc., 1001 SW Klickitat Way, Seattle, WA 98134.
