Description: Here is an internal CD ROM drive and ISA controller card made by Sony 30 years ago. At that time, there were multiple "standards" for CD ROM interfaces. This drive uses Sony's own 34-pin interface. I pulled this from a 486 VLB system without a hard drive. The CD ROM tray ejects normally but the tray is missing its front plastic faceplate. I did not try loading a driver so I don't know if the drive reads discs. You will receive the exact drive, card and cable pictured here. USPS Ground shipping is free to any U.S. zip code.
