Description: DESCRIPTION AND CONDITION Up for sale is a Vintage 2-1/4 Lbs Single Bit Axe Head. It is marked made in W GERMANY on one side and 2 ¼ on the other side. It measures about 6 3/4” long and the chopping blade is about 4” wide and the hammer end is about 2 5/8” wide. It weighs about 2 Lbs and 4 oz. Some mushrooming on the hammer end. There are knocks (especially on the top of one side blade) and grand marks. The blade has some nicks. It is old and used. What you see is what you get. And sold as is for restoration.
