Description: Vintage 2 Gallon Crown Stoneware Crock Keg with Blue Stripes Made in USA. Offering this vintage 2 Gallon Crown Stoneware Crock Keg with Blue Stripes. This blue striped jug has a crown logo with a 2 gallon notation and U.S.A lettering. The base of the jug also has a USA imprint. The removable lid is also blue striped with two chips on the underside unexposed surface with one of the chips extending slightly into the edge as shown in pictures. This jug is made of high-quality stoneware and features a glazed finish with typical light crazing. The washers on the spigot do not seal properly, so I think they are not original, and therefore, the jug leaks at the spigot seal. This jug displays well and is being sold for display only because of this leaking condition, and is priced accordingly. Please see pictures for the actual condition of this attractive 2 gallon stoneware jug. Measures approximately 15" tall x 9" diameter.
