This is a newer edition (2001 Thomas version) made after the original set that came out in 1977, expect light play wear (set is in played with condition). The motorized chassis sometimes loses traction but eventually gets going again. Also when the motorized chassis changes bodies sometimes it will get hung up and need a little help (this is usual and should be expected). This set includes:· Motorized chassis (works – NO AA battery included)· Terence (orange) Scoop Lifter body· Thomas (blue) Dump body· Percy (green) Dump body· 10 Rocks· Complete track set· NO Instructions (set was put together using pictures from the box). I am not sure how many rocks originally came with this set but this set includes 10 Requires a (AA) battery for operation which is not included. This is the newer 2001 version of Big Loader and they have improved the traction to the Motorized chassis with a black rubber traction band on one of the wheels. This does help with the operation of this toy.
