This beautiful piece has been hand carved in high relief and displays a very nice level of detail. The Tiki / Teko is standing in an unmistakable intimidating stance with his tongue poking out. This beautiful totem has powerful tattoo carvings to his face and body. Features Paua Shell (Abalone) eyes which capture and hold light perfectly. Stands 31cm in height, is 14.5cm in length and 3cm in width. Presented in very good vintage condition. Some very small nicks and bumps although far less than expected for a piece that is around 50 years of age. The original varnish has aged to show its vintage beautifully!
