Description: Vintage 6 Hole 14" Flute / Fife from the Melody Flute Co., Laurel, MD Before children learned to play recorders in school, the now defunct Melody Flute Company of Laurel, MD used to produce these small metal fifes with mouthpieces permanently attached as beginner instruments from the 1940s through the 70s.
