Description: GROOVY! AUTHENTIC! VERY COOL! Original owner! Vintage 1960's/70's Bell Bottom Jeans Measurements: 26" waist 28" Abdomen 36" Hips 30" inseam24" circumference bell buttom cuffs I purchased these jeans, at a department store in downtown Dallas in about 1968. The brand is "Youth Beat" and the size is not marked but I'm guessing Junior size 7 or 9. These were my "dressy jeans" because of the red insert in the front pocket and on the hip pockets. I had a red print body suit that I wore with these jeans. They have been packed away in my chest of treasures and I am offering them to other collectors of vintage clothing today. They are in excellent condition. They have one slash/stash pocket in the front and two regular pockets on the rear with red decorative inserts. They were washed before they were stored and have not seen the light of day since the "hippie days". I saw Willie Nelson and Ray Price perform together at a country bar in Dallas in 1970 while wearing these jeans. I wore boots with 2" heels with the jeans to show off the large size of the bells. We endeavored to sport the largest bells we could find. These are "natural" (NO added fabric to increase the bell). The bell cuff is 12" hem to hem, 24" total. My one handed measurement on the inseam is 29 3/4", and 30" is the inseam I preferred at the time. I'm calling them 30".
