Vintage 60s Dirndl Dress, Red Plaid Cotton Tegernesee Bavaria Germany Trachen XS

Description: Gorgeous German Dirndl cotton plaid dress by Z Vom Tegernsee. Vintage 1970s. Medium weight red and green plaid accented with black cotton as pictured. The bodice and sleeves are lined with white cotton with a snowflake print. Classic German Dirndl dress with short cap sleeves, fitted bodice, defined waist and pleated skirt. This is unusual as it is a dress by itself and does not need a blouse underneath. Adorable self fabric back ruffle peplum as pictured. Princess seamed and darted bodice for a flattering fit. Does up the center front with coordinating green lucite buttons to the nipped waist. Pleated skirt is open 7" below the waist and fastens with two metal snaps at the center front. The bodice and sleeves are lined with white cotton with a dark snowflake print as pictured. I'm 5'4" tall and this comes to my upper calf. It may be shorter or longer on you depending on your height. DESIGNER LABEL: Z Vom Tegernsee which is an authentic German label. SIZING: Tagged a German size 40. Based on the measurements below, I'd say this would best fit a modern size Extra Extra Small (XXS, 2XS).
