Description: Vintage 1964 Phillips Carlton Flyer 57cm / 22.5" Reynolds 531 Steel Lugged Road Bike Frame & Fork Vintage 57cm or 22.5" Phillips Carlton Flyer Reynolds 531 Steel Road Bike Frame & Fork that looks to be from 1964. There is a little mystery about this frame as it's an uncommon frame set or at least from a Phillips stand point, frame set looks to be a Carlton RC10X Flyer built for Phillips, there is some speculation that it was promotion Tool or Prototype possibly for Phillips Racing Team. The Bike was on display and sold out of Hans Ohrt of Beverly Hills, California USA. That is bit of Bike shop Folklore for this Frameset :) The Size is: Seat tube 55.5m crank Center to top tube Center or 57cm crank Center to Top with a 57cm center to center top tube. The Head tube is 130mm tall and the Frame has 126m Rear Spacing. The Frame and Fork's clearance is for 27" Wheels. The Frame and Fork are Reynolds Steel 531 Tubing with Flyer Lugs and Cyclo Dropouts. The Serial # is on the Bottom Bracket 18x & fork. Bottom Bracket also has numbers 11 7052. The Frame & Fork are Used, Pretty Original Paint, has scratches, paint & decal loss, touch up, some rust, shows wear, may have small dents, seat post clamp has been over tightened but still works fine, Paint still haves good color, classic used frame set. What's Shown Weighs a hair over 6 lbs. This frame is for 27" wheels and tires, It had GB, Weinmann, & Campagnolo parts, Not Included but for reference, Possibly available in our ebay store.
