Description: Darlington TigersRome, GASize - M Darlington is a private school in Rome, GA. I had a friend who went there in the early 70s who gave me this shirt around 1974. It was used then, so it's actually a little older. FYI, the school was founded in 1905 and is still there today!Part of a collection of clothing, mostly t-shirts, stored for 30+ years I'll be listing. Every piece of this vintage group is a personal item, originally bought by me or a family member, many from high school or college years from early 70's to early 80's.Fabric is 100% cotton, color is white. The school colors are purple and white, but this looks like dark navy lettering - not sure.NOTE: The shoulder seams look like they've been re-stitched. May have been to reinforce them, or possibly to shorten the shirt a little.
