Description: Vintage '70s Hand Made Crochet Green Yellow Plaid Fancy Afghan Throw Blanket Twin Size This is a gorgeous vintage square crochet blanket. This particular pattern is called "plaid fancy" and is from the Leisure Arts afghan booklet released in 1977. The pattern features a green and yellow yarn striped in basic tightly woven afghan stitch. Finished with a scalloped edging for a touch of whimsy. This blanket has an "up" side and a "bottom" side. The bottom shows the yarn changes. Measures approximately 56" x 56". I'd say that this is closest to a twin size. While this has been washed and shaved, I should note that this is from a smoking home. My great uncle enjoyed his cigars. I also have this blanket in the traditional brown and mustard yellow. There is a pulled right off the middle of the afghan.
