Description: Vintage 70s Jane Baar modest black midi secretary dress. Giving goth Wednesday Addams or the woman in the American Gothic painting by Grant Wood. Made in USA. Tag appears to say that the size is an 18, however, it’s hard to believe that this could be the case. We feel it fits like a modern day medium or large. For reference our model is 5’8”, 145 pounds, 36C and it fits well, maybe just a tad big. Please look closely at the measurement photos. Dress is secretary style with fabric tie at waist, outer sleeves are slightly transparent where there is a lace inset, keyhole closure at neckline. Standup collar and cuffs trimmed in lace. Forgiving elastic at waistband. Fabric is not identified on the tags but appears to be polyester. Approximate pit to pit: 20”; length: 42.” Very good vintage condition - no flaws detected.
