Description: Vintage 80s Farmhouse-Style Flour Canister The Tin Box Company Made in Hong Kong Over the years, my mother collected odd canisters. She enjoyed hunting for matches to complete sets. She was not successful with this one but used to store wheat flour. The canister measurements are: 7 1/2" (Height) and 6 7/8" (Diameter). The large motif and Flour label appears on both sides of the canister along with the delicate pink floral and leaf pattern encircling the entire canister. Although the charming "rustic farmhouse" design is distressed, there are some scratches that cut through to the tin. The Tin Box Company of America, Inc, Long Island City, N.Y. 11101 Made in Hong Kong is printed on the bottom without a bar code; dating the canister to 1980 when The Tin Company changed its business name. The company continues to manufacture tins but in a different location displayed on the label. Check photos with the understanding that as an amateur photographer, I've had some difficulty capturing the exact off-white yellowish tone background. Questions welcomed.
