Description: From Japanese designer Atsuro Tayama, this is a vintage dress from the mid-1990s. It has a high v-neck and short, tight sleeves reminiscent of a vintage athletic jersey. This sportiness is a nice contrast to the body of the dress which is nipped in at the waist and flares out at the hem, which is slightly ruffled. There is a neatly finished exposed seam running down the center of both the front and back of the dress, another cool contrast to the classic silhouette. The fabric is a jersey knit rayon that is form-fitting but not too clingy. It has a slight sheerness that requires something to be worn underneath. The neckline and sleeves are outlined by ribbed fabric that is a bit more sheer than the body fabric and is a very pretty detail. The dress pulls on with no closures. Made in France. Fabric and care: 100% rayon. Dry clean only. Although labeled as EUR size 38 / USA size 6, I would say this is a size extra small or even an extra extra small, but please note the measurements taken flat, one side only.
