Description: Vintage American Idea Racing Jacket 80s 1980s M Car Auto Moto Racing Patches. All pics are of the same one jacket. Please see all 12 pics for details & enlarge each pic for a closer look. Any wear, spots/stains/soiling (pay extra attention to pic 7) or anything else is to be considered character. This jacket isn’t “perfect” but it’s perfectly fabulous (in my opinion). Please note that ends of sleeves and hem were probably (at one time) a stretchy elastic). The elastic is not longer elastic. In other words.. it’s in there but it’s “shot”. In other words old/worn out/useless. This is nothing you can see but, if I think something should be pointed out or mention, I do so. There are shoulder pads inside the lining. This was not uncommon during the era. Shell and lining are 100% nylon. Fill is 100% polyester. Care instructions say line dry. This is important, do not put in the drier. Some of the “patches” have a plastic covering. You would not want heat damage. It says to wash on warm. Personally, I’d wash inside out in cold and in delicate cycle. This is just my opinion. See label for manufacturer info. Size M. Vintage sizes can run differently than modern day sizes.
