Description: Vintage Reproduction Presidential Campaign Pinback Buttons American Oil Merchandising Aids Hoover 1928This pinback button is itself vintage, marked 1972. It is a replica reproduction of a 1928 United States political presidential campaign button of Herbert Hoover made as a promotional item for American Oil Company (AMOCO). It is slightly under 1.5" in diameter, it attached to its original paper backing with description of campaign, and is in used condition. Some wear on the button and rust on the pinback. I didn't remove from its paper backing but tried to look under and didn't see any rust on the back or the front of the button. Original paper backing also has some wear such as bends.
