Description: Vintage Anchor Hocking Mayfair ice blue cookie/biscuit Jar with matching ice blue lid. the jar is in great condition. A rare Anchor Hocking ice blue color jar. *The jar contains a little bit of manganese which can cause the jar to glow a slight although very faint green color under the correct UV settings. The picture with the lid of the jar growing green was taken in an extremely dark room with a 365nm UV flashlight at close range. The picture with the glass jar glowing blue is in a slightly lighter room where the glass cannot glow due to the brightness. The green color is extremely faint but more noticeable on the handle of the top And the drawer would need to be placed in a very dark room for the green color to be seen under UV light.
