Description: This groovy vintage tie is made by Andover. There are three colors of stripes, two being different shades of green and one being a yellow/gold color. The darker green is close to a hunter green, the lighter green is an olive tone, the yellow is a medium gold color. The cross-weave in the tie looks tan, giving it an interesting texture, kind of like corduroy. The tie is 100% polyester, and has held up well, being from the 1960s-70s. It is not without flaws, though. There is a small stain on the lining underneath, which I have circled, and the label top half has come on stitched. This would be an easy fix, but I left it be. I am not a great sewer! There is also a longer thread on the inside of the skinny edge. It doesn’t seem to be crucial, but I didn’t want to trim it just in case. It measures approximately 56” long and 4” wide. If I have noticed any flaws in any of the neckties I am listing, I will post those details in photos, but there may be small things that I miss.
