Description: Description: I am just so fond of this classic piece, which I had purchased together with an Anthony vase. The pottery was made in El Monte, California. It wasesigned by Maynard Anthony Fr deeman who joined Gerald McFarlin's pottery in business it the 1940s. Freeman became the designer and moved the business from pottery animals to more designer pieces. While it was made probably in the 1940s – 1960s, this is still suitable for design today. The compote is 5.5" high and 9.75” in diameter. The vase is decorated on the outside with gilding....gold over red paint that is matte in finish. The inside is a lovely dark green with a high shine. This piece is NOT marked Condition: No chips, cracks or repairs. Gilding has scratches and shows through red in areas, which I believe if part of the design. Please review the pictures closely as they are part of the description. I apologize ahead of time for the cost of shipping. I only ship USPS Priority insured.
