Description: Vintage Art Deco Party Place card from the 1920's, unused, by Campbell Art Co. Publishers, Elizabeth N.J. "Cuddle Me" Designed by Ruth E. Newton and Elizabeth Manley, "Patent Applied For". Copyright 1921. This card features a blonde flapper seated on a stool and speaking into a telephone with small white dog. The waist is surrounded by a yellow and white crepe paper skirt. There is a stand that can be unfolded on the reverse. Ruth Newton was a well-known illustrator in the first half of the 20th century, working with Rust Craft, Whitman Publishing, and others. She was also a doll designer. Approximate Size is 3.5 X 6.5 inches. Condition: Unused. Age-toned. Face and hat are creased. Reinforced on reverse at largest crease with archival mending tape.
